The end of something is always bittersweet. The Perry Central Bulldogs perfect season has ended at 12-1. The Morton Panthers were just too much for us and our boys played their hearts out in a 21-14 loss. While I am always a little excited when the season ends because I get my husband back and our front yard suddenly becomes neat and pretty again, I am truly sad this season is over. This was Dale's first time really having responsibility for a team in being the D-coordinator. He has learned SO much this year about coaching and I am thankful he got the opportunity to grow as a coach. PC was the distrcit champions for the first time ever in the schools 25 year history, were undefeated in the regular season at 11-0 and made it farther in the playoffs than they ever had before. Definitely nothing to be ashamed of.
