Put Me In Coach...

HE'S ready to play!

Baby BOY Holmes is on his way! It took the ultrasound tech like 15 minutes to make sure because child is moving around SO much. He is literally doing like leg squats and punching his arms constantly- which is interesting because I still can't really feel it. The umbilical cord was also in between his legs so we had to wait a little bit and try to move around so we could tell for sure but the tech was 100% sure it was a boy. I think Dale pretty much expected boy all along but I am SO excited to just finally know. I feel like it is more real to us now and now there is actually stuff we can do to prepare for baby. We are going to register this weekend at Target and start looking at baby nursery things. We went to Campus Book Mart as soon as we left the dr. to get baby Boy Southern Miss attire. Child will be wearing Golden Eagle socks and a hat home from the hospital!

I won't do the break down this week but all is well. I have gained 9lbs. which Dr. said is "perfect". (Whatever that means) and baby weighs 11 ounces which is average. Dale thinks it has a big head which wouldnt be surprising since his head is huge and he was a 9 pound baby. We'll see though. I still haven't "popped" so it is getting annoying to hear people say "oh you are half way, you don't look pregnant at all, etc." because I get it. I know it will come soon enough so it doesn't bother ME except when I am tired of hearing about it 24/7. My pants are tighter EVERY DAY so I'm running out of options. There just aren't a lot of maternity places around here... I might have to start buying online which makes me a little nervous having no idea about sizes, etc. Oh well, I'll figure it out.

Anyways- all is well. I'm a little less anxious now that I know he is okay. I hadn't been to the dr. in 5 weeks so I just needed to hear everything is okay. Dale is wrapping up baseball season which I am pretty excited about since he has games so often. It will be nice to have him back for a little bit. Then he will be off and can start really working on baby stuff. Our AC has been broken and we finally fixed that today too! All and all- great day!
